Wildflowers
March 2026
My senior design collection is inspired by the song “Wildflowers” by Dolly Parton. Growing up, my family and I would listen to her CDs in the car, and this collection reflects a sense of nostalgia rooted in those simple, meaningful moments.
I aimed to create pieces that feel playful and joyful, reflecting both the spirit of the song and my own design style. Throughout the process, I focused on creating cohesion through color and fabric choices while balancing a variety of silhouettes, necklines, and details to make each look feel intentional yet effortless. This collection brings together the creative and technical skills I’ve developed throughout my time at Auburn.
Dahlia
The Dahlia set features a coordinating floral patterned pant and top, creating a look that feels fresh and cohesive. The pants showcase a unique structure, with a fitted floral waist that contrasts against the voluminous green pant legs, adding dimension and visual interest to the silhouette.
Bluebell
Bluebell is a soft, light-blue gingham dress featuring off-the-shoulder bubble sleeves, paired with a layered denim piece. The denim piece includes an attached flower, adding a lighthearted floral touch that ties it into the collection’s theme.
Daisy
Daisy is a white babydoll dress featuring an oversized, playful green floral motif, layered over a subtle gingham underlay that adds dimension and texture. This look feels joyful and nostalgic and blends structure with lightness.
Camellia
Camellia features a high-neck printed top styled with a white mini skirt and a handmade denim belt. The look feels both confident and feminine, with a gentle country influence that adds warmth and personality.
